The Power of Emotional Color Healing Art
8 Paintings portray the threshold where Seeking Sanctuary dissolve into Interwoven Meadow
Watch it happen In this intimate studio conversation with Dorothy Fagan The Color Alchemist, she opens her creative heart with candor. Filmed in her Virginia studio, during the sacred time of culling her Watershed Journey, we see the artist in action doing what only she can do. Without knowing, she flexes a Faith 'muscle' she has trained for fifty years -- to reveal the paintings through a process she calls Splash Scribble.
In the video, you see her formulating, manifesting, utilizing the entire Watershed Journey map -- from the highlands source, through streams of consciousness, to her pond, the marsh, bay, and oceans.

Goddess Portals Paintings
Shown during their creation in her studio (video above) the Goddess Portals paintings show the evolotion of transforming energies in the sequence of their creation. They are pictured in sequence on this page, with titles that came through with them.
Notice the progression from sundown to sunrise, end of day to new beginning. And from water through marsh into the meadow interwoven. This sequence of paintings opened Dorothy's Watershed Journey paintings into Interwoven: Flourish in the Meadow.
If one of these paintings speaks to you, see it upclose with Dorothy. Schedule your Zoom Studio Visit at the bottom of the page.
Come Into the Studio
Some of these paintings will speak to you immediately. Others will take a little longer — a second look, a quiet moment, a conversation.
If you find yourself drawn to a piece and wanting to talk it through — which one might belong in your home, how it looks in natural light, what it felt like to paint it — I would love to meet you.
Book a studio visit below. We will spend twenty minutes together on Zoom, just the two of us, and I will show you the work up close. If you wish to chat about framing, I've designed several options I can show you.
No pressure. No pitch. Just a conversation between two women who love beautiful things.
