In tune with nature, humans have greater capacity to perceive well beyond the five senses.

I have long said I could taste colors.

As I engage with art and color, I discover I now feel color in my body, sense people as color.

I suspect I am not alone in this, rather hearing, seeing, feeling, tasting, touching, and smelling overlap in a myriad of ways.

When we engage with art we stimulate imagination. This activates the sixth chakra, or third eye, drawing creative energies up through the body connecting earth with spirit.

It is our human nature to be the bridge.

Ode to the Mountain speaks to the fertile meadow within us. The Mountain symbolizes all that we struggle against, alas when we accept our mountain as part of our internal landscape ~ the meadow within our heartlands opens.

Ode to the Mountain honors our struggle, our fertile heart, and the magic that resides with each human being.

Whether our interest is personal to explore deeper realms of self, or to help others manifest their gifts ~ engaging with art opens a portal.
