Interwoven chakra colors
Interwoven Series Textile Art
I am working with fabrics (silk and cashmere silk) on which I have printed my paintings. So this follows the same thread of creative energy as the painting, taking it further, interweaving two threads together.
In this piece you feel deeply grounded earthy colors. Deep vermilion, some reds, golds, and deep purples that touch deeply embedded spirit.
On the other end of the spectrum, you can feel the heart centered greens, teals, meadow, golden greens, reaching toward blue and indigo.
My use of copper and pearlescent paint calls in that shimmering iridescnect light, associated with spirit.
