It's difficult sometimes, to envision how a painting will feel in your space. Here are three examples of how I would design a room with art.
Anchoring a Great Room with Vertical Scale
When I design art for a space, I want you to feel expansive yet rooted in the architecture and surrounding nature of your home. In the example above, a tall vertical wall and staircase feels anchored by the horizon line of the art and horizontal credenza below it. Billowy clouds mirror the expansiveness of the contemporary architecture, creating a portal for the heart to soar.
Softening a Contemporary Bedroom with Color Solution
You could soften a contemporary bedroom with Dahlia Dancing, opening earthy neutral undertones of the room with greens. This will help balance earth and sky colors, to mirror natural harmonies in the body.
Filling a Breakfast Nook with Warmth
Solstice Sunrise fills this breakfast nook with warmth and uplifting energy. Tactile brush strokes, oil paint stick, and pencil lines focus up-close conversation with the painting.
You can imagine entering this space from across the room, the scale of the window make this a statement piece drawing you into the aura of entire space, before cozying up for a talk.

FAQ
How do I choose art that feels calming for a bedroom?
Look for a color solution — earth and sky tones balanced together, rather than a single dominant color — to mirror natural harmony in the body and soften a contemporary room.
What makes art feel "heart-healing" in a space?
Heart-healing art is chosen for how it relates to the architecture and light of a room, not just its palette — the goal is a piece that feels expansive yet rooted, drawing the eye and the heart into the space.
